Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
A. No Child Left Behind: Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001, the U.S. Department of Education mandated that school districts allocate up to twenty percent of their Title I funds to offer parents supplemental educational services. These tutorial services are assessed, monitored, and evaluated on an individual student basis.
B. SES: CORAL individualizes instruction and then offers a combination of one on one and small group tutoring to meet student and parent needs. Tutorial support is coordinated with the school and the district. The number of tutorial sessions varies depending on the educational package that is designed for the child. Schedules are developed in consultation with parents and school administrators. |
